There is no good way to describe the roar of 40 Nascar race cars flying around the track. It's literally deafening. And thrilling. This was our second race at Richmond, and we were not disappointed.

We got to the track a few hours before the race and went up to find our seats. It was a beautiful, sunny day with no hurricane weather left behind. With the switch from the Saturday night race to Sunday afternoon, we found ourselves doing what we could to beat the heat. It was HOT in the grandstands!

We were all excited to be there. Some are just... uh... concentrating too hard to smile!

After the race, we were stuck in the parking lot for about 90 minutes. Thankfully(?) we had this wonderful character to "entertain" us. He stopped by our car numerous times to try and tell us of shortcuts out of the parking lot. I'm pretty sure that if we had listened to him, we'd STILL be trying to get out!

Before parting ways with Brian & Tom, we stopped for a late supper at Chili's. Thanks for coming out guys. We had a great time!
