Another Step in the Journey

Today we are off to Philadelphia. Headaches continue to be a problem for me, and my doctors at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia are not pleased that I haven't responded to any medication combination thus far. They are concerned about continuing medication trials with no end in sight. They would really like to figure out what is causing the headaches, and work from the root of the problem. (No arguments from me on that one!)

So, starting early tomorrow morning, I will spend three days as an outpatient at Jefferson University Hospital. They'll give me various medications by IV in various strengths and combinations with the goal of eliminating my headache, at least for a short amount of time.
